Southern California’s @selectiveresponse1 is what happens when dedication to self-expression and hard work meet an insatiable passion for techno. Although new in name, this 27-year-old swiss army knife’s history tells a different tale.

As one who's always been a DIY-type, 2019 marks the beginning of a string of powerful releases and the birth of his label Crisis Of Man, with support from Perc, I Hate Models, Remco Beekwilder, Truncate and more. His sound is relentless: a combination of punishing unique rhythms which are instantly recognizable on any dancefloor, something that can only be achieved after years of work and refinement paired with a refusal to follow trends.

With so much accomplished in such a short time, there is nothing of bright future ahead of him.
