As a resident for musical collective / radio community Melodic Distraction and one of the key organisers for the inclusive event series ATHE, Ben Sleia has had her feet firmly planted within the Northern music scene for some time now. From her excellent selections in experimental techno and maintaining a strong voice for female, queer and minority musicians, Lea has long championed an ethos of complete diversity and liberation.
These values are reflected in ATHE's programming and her own musical choices.
