DETECT - Inish

@inishn is a Nordic artist and DJ known for their fast-paced sound and intentional interweavings of trance, techno and queer divinity. After falling in love with dance music during their time in Berlin, they aim to challenge conformity through their artistic expressions.

In their hometown of Bergen, Norway, they focus on driving the creation of autonomous safer, accessible spaces for trans and minority people, through their passion project ‘A Guide to Empathetic Spaces’ and queer club concept, Spirals. In 2019 they co-founded Norway’s first ever Trangender Awareness Week and continued working with the community by mentoring music production to transgender youth.

In this exclusive DETECT mix for FOLD, they begin with a track by Ukrainian artist Katarina Gryvul, before they go on to collaborate with the Brazilian, Norwegian-based, artist and writer Nayara Leite - blending Nayara’s poem with Inish’s unreleased track ‘Nadir’.
