DETECT - Vindya

For this week’s DETECT we are so excited to welcome the classically trained musician, composer and DJ, @vinthyaaa.

Residing in Manchester, her selections are increasingly taking her away from the Northern city, with attention rapidly gathering from further afar. Bookings at various festivals and venues abroad has seen her deservedly exposed to wider audiences and she has flourished in each opportunity. 𝕍𝕚𝕟𝕕𝕪𝕒’s FOLD debut was one to remember, with an excellent set at last December’s Teletech event.

Sets with the Daytimers have also included prog house, breakbeat and jungle and often pay homage to Vindya’s South Asian heritage.
